Big Jess is the larger half of the Northeast Minneaplois underground hip-hop duo "Unknown Prophets". Big Jess takes care of all the production and half the rhymes, and his counter-part Mad Son takes care of the rest of the rhymes. They are often times accompanied by DJ Willy Lose behind the decks. They dropped their debut in 1998 entitled "The Prophecy". Big Jess has a fantastic solo career as well, including his solo debut "Good Clean Fun!" and "Good Clean Fun 2 - The Super Jump-Off". His rhymes are on-point, his lyrics are intelligent, concious, and full of heart and soul. It all adds up to one of the most underrated emcee/producers you will ever hear.
